Become a Community Partner
We are looking to expand our ecosystem to include partnerships with other inclusive and welcoming communities that are complimentary to our own offerings.
Community Partner Benefits
- Community leaders can get a free membership for our Community Managers Cohort
- Communities will have the option to sell branded merch in our community merch store (launching 2027) and receive royalties on every sale, with no admin required beyond signing an agreement and supplying assets.
Types of communities we are looking to partner with
We are open to partnering with:
- Communities aimed at founders and/or professionals, especially in tech, design, startups, community and events management, and adjacent fields
- Free and paid communities
- Online, hybrid and IRL communities
- Newsletters seeking to build a community
If your community's primary focus is to support a commercial product or company, we are open to commercial partnerships only.
Partnership models
Mutual benefit partnerships
A mutual benefit partnership requires no financial commitment on either side. These could include:
- Resources partnership: If your community has public resources such as how-to guides and tutorials, we'd love to feature some in our Resources Library, linked back to your site, of course!
- Open Source partnership: We plan to start publishing open source software that helps our operations. If you have open source contributors in your community we can offer priority access to issues. If we offer rewards for contributions, your members will get access to these, too.
- Public event partnership: We can run joint public virtual events designed to promote both our communities and your community. This type of partnership is aimed at paid communities only.
- Custom partnership: If you have an idea for a way we can work together, let us know!
- Backlink partnership: Maybe the only way we can work together for now is to link to each other's sites. If our communities are aligned, that's OK.
Joint venture partnerships
We are looking to partner with other communities on jointly run ticketed virtual events. Joint venture partnerships involve an agreement to share costs and profits between both parties.
Commercial partnerships
A commercial partnership requires financial commitments from the partner. These are aimed at paid communities, communities with major sponsors or communities whose primary focus is to support a commercial product or company. We can:
- Facilitate virtual events for your members or subscribers.
- Source speakers and/or mentors for your events.
