Code of Practice for Contributors

Contributors agree to:

• Follow repository guidelines contained in the Readme, Contributing Guide, Code of Conduct or similar files
• Only use AI for contributions if the repository allows it
• Where the use of AI is allowed, ensure they can understand, explain and defend all AI generated work included in a contribution
• Respond constructively to feedback and questions from maintainers

Code of Practice for Maintainers

Maintainers agree to:

• Ensure participating projects are ready for contributions. We are using Virtual Coffee’s Maintainer Checklist for guidance here
• If projects don’t fully meet the Checklist, work through the initiative to get the project up to standard
• Review all contributions received through the initiative in a fair and unbiased manner
• Reserve some issues for OSWeave contributors
